Pageant Winners
The beauty pageants winner will be the crowned titleholder Miss Earth; the runners-up will be named after classical elements: Earth Fire (third runner-up), Earth Water (second runner-up), and Earth Air (first runner-up).
However, from 2010 onwards, the elemental titles (Air, Water, and fire bestowed upon the following three delegates with the highest score after the Miss Earth winner) were declared equal in importance and thus had the same rank and were no longer classified as “runners-up.”
There have been 22 Winners of the Miss Earth Pageant.
The motto for Miss Earth is Beauties for a cause; their primary focus is environmental issues.
The Pageant originated in 2001. Carousel Productions believe that beauty queens make good advocates because of how people trust and admire them.
